Same-Day Sick and Injury Care for Dogs & Cats
At COTA Veterinary, we understand that your pet doesn’t always get sick or injured on a schedule. While we are not a full-service emergency hospital, we do offer same-day appointments for minor injuries, illnesses, and urgent needs—when our schedule allows.
If your pet needs help quickly, give us a call. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate you based on the day’s capacity.
What We Can Typically Treat Same-Day:
- Minor injuries (limping, small cuts, mild swelling)
- Vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite
- Ear infections and skin issues
- Coughing, sneezing, or mild respiratory concerns
- Eye or urinary issues
Important Notes:
- We are not a walk-in clinic - While we sometimes can fit in urgent cases, we strongly encourage you to call ahead so we can assess availability and prepare for your pet’s arrival.
- We are not an emergency facility - We currently have one veterinarian and one anesthesia machine on site, which limits our ability to handle critical emergencies—especially if a pet is already under anesthesia for surgery.
- We cannot provide oxygen therapy or intensive care for life-threatening conditions at this time.
